First Impressions (Language of Love)

First Impressions (Language of Love) - Nora Roberts The 'fault' that I found with this story was that the female protagonist was always so optimistic and good-natured, borderline gregarious, and seemingly indefatigable. All these work to easily disarm the male protagonist and avoids dealing with any issues he may have (ie: he had a past he was trying to step away from). While these traits make her endearing, it also dehumanizes her at the same time -- as in, less real. Nonetheless, I still liked the story.
