This is an absolutely delightful and charming book. It will make you laugh and cry. To say that the central character, Ove, is eccentric, is probably an understatement. He's fastidious and pedantic, (but in his own way, a softie) all of which enrich the story. The plot is made richer by a cast of motley neighbors -- young and old, human and animal. Hands down, this story has got heart, and a lot of it. This is among my favorite reads for 2015, if not, "the most favorite."
