Identity

Identity - Milan Kundera, Linda Asher This is a story about multiple, or rather, varied identities -- the kind that wears masks to suit different settings and circumstances. The fluidity of such an identity is subject to perversion, in that it is shaped, more often than not, by how one wants to be perceived by others. This a somewhat voyeuristic tale into the innermost motivations and sentiments of the characters, not immediately apparent via encounter or interaction alone. The reader does not have to be a student of Freud or Jung to enjoy the case study of such a telling.
