A thriller set in China, involving the Chinese, Russians and Americans. Alliances are necessary, but is everyone who they claim to be. In addition to the page-turning allure, this book is also informative: concerning the history of China and other scientific discoveries and inventions. This, I find, to be the added value in Steve Berry's works because learning something in the course of being entertained, is always a plus, especially when it is woven seamlessly into a story. I was reading the 'Author's Note' and conducting side researches even before I was through with the book.
