The Last Gospel (Jack Howard, #3)

The Last Gospel (Jack Howard, #3) - David Gibbins "What do you get if you cross Indiana Jones with Dan Brown? Answer: David Gibbins" -- the review by the 'Mirror'. Well, not quite... it does have some of the makings of Indiana Jones, but less intense. Also some of the ingredients of Dan Brown, but less suspense. I liked it a little better compared to 'Atlantis' (which contained too much technical information, as far I am concerned). But just like 'Atlantis', the crux of the novel was to get to the archaeological artifact before the 'other party'. I would have classified this book as a thriller, and as such would have expected a little more action. Based on that, I give it only 2½ stars.
